FOUR NEW COLLAGES! These four artworks will be part of a nationally juried show called “12 Voices”. The call for artists was open nationally and internationally. As the curator of the show put it, “The ’12 Voices’ exhibition will give viewers a rare, in-depth look at twelve of the best fabric artists working today.” The show opens in Michigan in the fall of 2008 and then will travel for a year. A notice of the show’s itinerary will be sent out as it is finalized. In addition, I have a few smaller, original fabric collages also available for purchase. The new collages focus on the more abstract qualities found in nature - color, texture and pattern. The new pieces are smaller than the majority of my commissioned pieces, and thus will more easily fit into normal sized spaces - like yours!
